Field Trips:

October 9th Gold Rush Days in Coloma. The town becomes a tent encampment with groups of miners from all over California to interpret gold rush history. Meet at OC by the w
Wave at 8:45AM to sign release forms and to car pool as needed. Maps will be available - travel distance is about 64 miles round trip. Food, drink, and restrooms are available. Trip leader Bill Jensen, (cblincoln52@sbcglobal.net).

 

Field Trips being considered: Preston Castle in Ione, Rock Quarry in Newcastle, Lincoln lumber mill, Lincoln Coffee Company, Sikh Temple and Festival in Yuba City, private shoot of a weaver/sculpturer at work, galley visits. If you have ideas or suggestions about field trips, please tell us!
